Teens learn cooking techniques through preparation of a simple three part meal, plus dessert. This class helps build confidence and key skills in this adventurous cooking class! This class is specifically designed to help teens learn proper safety and cleaning, basic preparation techniques, and three cooking techniques that will help teens be able to repeat this meal and others that involve similar techniques.
This menu is chosen for its seasonality at this time, the variety of ingredients and techniques that will be used to support the students growth!
 Menu includes:
Herby seared Chicken
Braised Tangy broccoliÂ
Cheesy veggie pasta bake
Chocolate Truffles
Keep in mind that the ending time may fluctuate, based on questions and discussions from students, and any problem solving that may occur with the recipes. Due to this, the class may end up to 15 minutes late. Flexibility with time may be necessary.
This will be an online class to do from your own home! We will send you the Zoom link for this after sign-up.
We will also send a tools and ingredients list to have for the class. The day before the class we will send you an outline and any other info you will need before the class. Recipes will be sent to you at the end of the class so that you can repeat it again and again.
