We understand that ingredients are only as good as where and when they come from to we change our menus by seasons so that you can get the tastiest most nutrient rich ingredients when you request each of our classes and packages

We want to explore the type of eating that fits your version of healthy whether that is a specific diet, immuno-compromised diets or you just want to keep it to whole foods that keep you energized. Becky Wolff

Hi, my name is Becky. I am the founder and head chef-instructor of Becky’s Pixie Kitchen.I have been surrounded by art, culture, and a wide range of delicious food traditions from an early age. Growing up in South America, I learned the beauty of expressing love through the sharing of good food with friends and family.

I started my professional journey as a middle school teacher. I welcomed the opportunity to teach, but felt a pull to pursue a more creative profession in the culinary world. I earned my culinary degree from the Art Institute of Washington where I had the opportunity to attend the White House launch of the “Chefs Move to Schools” program. This experience ignited my commitment to educating children and their families to eat more healthily.

My experience working in prominent restaurants and hotels on the east coast, has also taught me the importance of farm-to-table dining, using seasonal and organic ingredients, and refining recipes to enhance flavor while promoting sustainability.

These experiences and the knowledge that came with them were the inspiration for Becky’s Pixie Kitchen. By providing accessible and customizable cooking classes, I am committed to educating my community about the infinite ways to make food flavorful, healthy, and environmentally sustainable. Through this commitment, I am able to teach children and adults alike how to foster a greater sense of confidence and connection with their food through preparing well-rounded meals; even more so, teaching others to cook good food makes it possible for my clients to share that food, and love, with others.
