Service Description

Are you struggling with knowing how to use herbs and spices in your dishes? Are you wondering if the flavors combine together? Will it end up tasting really bad? Should you use dried or fresh? How do you even use some of these herbs and spices? The use of herbs and spices can be overwhelming. We now offer a solution to your questions and frustrations with a 3-classes Herbs and Spices course! Our goal is to give you a better understanding of these wonderful flavorings, through learning about flavor differentiators, how to combine them, and how to properly prepare herbs and spices. Through this course you will feel empowered to use more Herbs and Spices in all your meals, flavor it up and know that your meals will have a new level of aroma and seasoning! We will provide instruction on infusions, chutneys, sauces, and other forms of incorporating flavor combinations in seasonal delicious recipes. We will offer education on herbs and spices essentials that are easy to practice, teaching you to use creative processes in your own recipes at home, for success in the kitchen. This one-week course will be comprised of three 2.5-hour classes. In each class you will learn 2 recipes that will provide key understanding of different cooking methods and common ingredients that are essential to well balanced meals. You will also learn some supplementary skills such as: easy food preparation, essential cooking techniques to make mouthwatering meals, analyzing the cost effectiveness of using herbs and spices, and creating balanced meals. Signing up for this In-person course, means a student is signed up for all 3 classes purchased at registration. This course runs for one week in October: on the days - 10th,12th, and 14th. This course runs every 1-2 months, either in- person or online.
