Untangling the “What to Make for Dinner BLUES!” Sometimes meal making can be overwhelming. We now offer a solution to your meal stress and frustration with a 3-week meal planning course! Our goal is to make meal planning easy and repeatable by covering the important pieces and structures you need to overcome your meal planning stress. We will address the “why” of meal planning, how to adjust your plan for your specific needs, and how to plan shopping by creating the right shopping list for you. You will learn to identify staple items, “stack” or “bulk meals”, use key recipes that you can repeat regularly, and create meals that are scalable for your family size. Through this course you will feel empowered to finally eliminate the “what-to-cook-blues”! We will instruct and support you as you learn to easily manage what you create and eat on a daily and weekly basis. We will offer you meal planning essentials that are easy to practice, teaching you to use creative processes for success in the kitchen. This 3-week course includes one 2-hour class each week. In each class you will learn 2 recipes that will provide key understanding of different cooking methods and common ingredients that are essential to well balanced meals. You will also learn some supplementary skills such as: easy food preparation, essential flavoring techniques to make mouthwatering meals, analyzing the cost effectiveness of “bulk meal” preparation, and creating balanced meals. Signing up for this In-person course, means a student is signed up for all 3 classes purchased at registration. This course runs for three days in November. This course runs every 1-2 months, either in-person or online.
